A Change of Viewpoint

Jan 08 2024

To celebrate  40 years of exploring colour, I’m proud to Introduce my new series of abstract work, A Change of Viewpoint.

I decided in 1984 that I would  take the path less travelled and pursue a career in the Visual Arts. In 2024, I am still on the same path, and still learning; it’s too late to turn back now! For this series I am using a limited palette of blues, taking a three dimensional journey on a two dimensional canvas, with inspirational Jazz music as my companion. Let’s see where it takes us.

Here is the first piece I created – A Change of Viewpoint – which is also the title of the series .

Acrylic, gesso, gel medium, varnish on stretched canvas 35cm x 28cm.
